1Saint-Amand-sur-Fion Church
Also known as ‘La Merveille’ (The Marvel), this church is the iconic monument of this village in the Fion Valley, named after the stream that runs through the commune. Listed as a historic monument in 1875, its architecture and Gothic-style chevet are impressive. Saint-Amand-sur-Fion was once awarded the label ‘Most Beautiful Villages of France’. Its half-timbered houses and farms, narrow streets and mills (most of which are privately owned) make it a village full of charm.
