Discover Lake Der on a 45-minute horse-drawn carriage ride from the Giffaumont water sports center.
You will learn about:
- the history of the lake (key dates, the reason for its creation, how the lake works, and how it was created)- a presentation of the Ardennes draft horse breed (its origin, characteristics, and uses)
A gourmet ride is also available (in the early evening, by reservation only), where you can enjoy an aperitif featuring quality local products.
The carriage, pulled by two draft horses, is covered, comfortable, and accessible for people with reduced mobility. Seating is limited to 3 people.
