GR® 145 / VFF30 De Outines à Montmorency-Beaufort

51290 Outines
This part of the route will take you out of the Marne department and into the Aube department.
This 30th stage of the Via Francigena in France is one of the most interesting for those who love to admire atypical religious heritage and sacred art. Indeed, you can visit three of the most beautiful half-timbered churches in Champagne, including those of Outines, Bailly-le-Franc, and Lentilles. The GR® 145 then continues towards Précy-Saint-Martin and then Dienville.

4Montmorency-Beaufort

Arrival at this stage. It was not until 1919 that Montmorency-Beaufort took its current name. However, the village was mentioned as early as the Carolingian period under the name of Beaufort. The Via Francigena continues towards Précy-Saint-Martin and Dienville.
