This walk takes you to discover the charming village of Giffaumont-Champaubert and the Nautical Station. In 1971, the villages of Giffaumont and Champaubert-aux-Bois merged to become Giffaumont-Champaubert. A few years later, in 1974, the Lac du Der-Chantecoq was flooded. Champaubert-aux-Bois was one of the three villages submerged along with Chantecoq and Nuisement-aux-Bois.

1Nautic Base, Giffaumont-Champaubert
The nautic base of Giffaumont-Champaubert offers a wide range of leisure activities (tree climbing , boat trips, sightseeing train, mini-golf, arcade games, inflatable structures, mini-kart for children, bike hire, etc.), as well as restaurants, bars and a JOA casino. You'll find one of the largest lake marinas in France, with 400 berths for sailing and motor boats.
