Atelier WAKSU E.I

Atelier Waksu is an art embroidery workshop, specialising in beaded embroidery.

Its know-how acquired in Lunéville (Lorraine), the cradle of beaded embroidery, enables it to offer you textile creations combining modernity and tradition.

The know-how of the Atelier Waksu, is declined in a multitude of possibilities of creation, that they are personal or according to your request.

Everything starts from an idea or a sensitivity. An in-depth artistic research and analysis of the subject is carried out. This leads to the development of several sketches of motifs.

The choice of a final design is then made, where the embroidered support, the shapes, the colours, the supplies (classic and/or self-made material) which will be used in the embroidery are defined.

Inspired by Art Deco, the 70's, modern art, nature and other crafts, Atelier Waksu associates embroidery with a game of deconstruction / reconstruction of a subject in order to give it a new look.

And this is done exclusively in the context of one-off, entirely hand-made pieces: no embroidery or sewing machines are used.
