Boarding a train at the Gare de l’Est in Paris, you can be in Vitry le François 1 hr 20 mins later, with the TGV Est high-speed train.
Get on your bike and, 22 km further on, you’ll find yourself at Lac du Der, in the midst of unspoilt countryside.
